BREAD MAKING COURSE ( 12usd)
The bread that we make in Zopilote has natural yeast made on the farm. If you are interested in learning how to make bread with natural yeast in a wood-burning oven, you can enroll in this course. Also, we will teach you how to make pizza, cookies, and sweets. The course lasts 5 hours, costs $12 U.S.D. for 1 person and takes 2 days to complete.

RUSTIC CERAMIC COURSE (12 usd)
During Rustic Ceramic Course we want to teach making pots, plates, pendants and other objects with a mixture of mud and sand that once we get cooked became pottery. The technique used is basic, with the use of knives and smooth stones to give the finish as indigenous people did in the past. The pots that are made are used in agriculture and irrigation system or for decoration. The important thing for us is to keep alive a tradition that was once very common and is now disappearing. BEEKEEPING COURSE (10usd)
For people interested and not scared from bees we organize a beekeepers course.It cost 10 usd and last few hours with a lot of practice and some theory of how the bees's world is working.

SPANISH LESSONS ( 2usd and hour )
We are organizing Spanish courses with group of graduates from the community El Madroñal (where is located the Finca El Zopilote ) to provide a double service:
1) For our customers, so they can learn the language at reasonable prices.
2) To help teachers from the community to work.
For this reason we have established the very cheap price of $ 2 now. You may make a single lesson, but we recommend staying a few days to do more lessons and learn a little more. I note that the El Zopilote does not get any on money from this proyect. Los courses can be booked directly at the reception of the farm. Thanks.

HELP IN THE GARDEN ( FREE )
For people interested in learning pratical permaculture we give the opportunity to work with us in the garden. The work takes place primarily in the morning from 7 to 11, from Tuesday to Saturday and is to take care of medicinal herbs, spices, vegetables and trees in our gardens planted following the principles of permaculture. You will work with Gretis, an girl from the island 24 years old with lots of experience in organic gardening, and who speaks little bit English and Spanish, and more, there is always the presence of our family (Cristiano, Daniele, Bruno) giving help, advice and explanations after 10 years of experience in tropical permaculture. Normally permaculture courses are expensive and with much theory: ours is free because we feel that is important to bring all people to organic farming to improve this world. The only thing we ask is to stay at least a week of paying the normal hostel rent ( for cost information, look at ACCOMMODATION). We wait for you.
